I really like how the movement feels. It'll make for a great metroidvania game. I hope plans for the full game include elements that make it new and unique.
OMG THIS IS BETTER THEN MOST PAID GAMES WHERE DO I START AHHHHH!!!!!!!! The movement and controls/abilitys are so addicting and fun that I litterally played through this 10 times. Not to mention the art style and characters/sprites. IM IN LOVE!!!
its good 9/10 (its fun bc i played 3 times lol)but i feel like some of the combat isn't hinted at enough like i didnt know that could attack down mid air so yea! great demo
Fantastic! Movement and combat feel great! There's a good variety of enemies and hazards for a short demo, and the platforming provides a nice challenge. I love how agile you are right from the start! The pixel art for the characters and other sprites is charming. The environmental art is pretty basic, but manages to conveying a sense of place, and is very clean visually so that the sprites stand out nicely.
Suggestions/Criticisms:
-Underwater gameplay is a bit dull, maybe add a dash while swimming?
-Add diagonal shooting for the bow?
-A downward air-dash/butt-stomp move might be nice?
-The music is a bit weak
I very much look forward to playing the full game!
Regardless of setting / character / abilities, the movement alone is so smooth and addicting that I found myself immediately sucked into the demo. That plus the extraordinarily charming audio design and spritework makes for an extremely enjoyable demo! Looking forward to the full game!

the movement is so fricking c r i s p, all the level and obstacle designs are detailed enough to be interesting but also clearly readable, and of course the characters are so so cuuute :D
This is one of the best-feeling games I have ever played, thanks to the great controls. Everything feels just like it should. The art and music are also really good, establishing an atmospheric mood. Good luck, would definitely buy!
I found a video on this game on YouTube, I decided to check it out, I thought it was another not interesting indie game. But damn me, this is a fantastic game, everything looks amazing, I'm really looking forward to this game, I hope it turns out to be very good. (sorry for my English, I just live in Russia)
It's a really cool game, its feel so nice to play. But i think that the up and down dash are unuseful, and annoying, and its a bit weird that in a metroidvania you have all the abilities in the very beginnig. Appart of that a really cool game
Absolutely fantastic! The movement and combat feels really good and the game manages to strike a really nice balance between platforming and combat. The art and animations are a particular high point for me. Good sound design too.
dude the movement is SO SMOOTH. Building up to a full moveset in metroidvania fashion would be an easy way to implement some progression, as would attack strength / quiver size / arrow effects (light/fire arrows?) and max health pickups. even just a few palette-swapped enemies with altered speed, power, health, and/or movement patterns would add a lot of diversity as well as setting of 'harder' sections of the castle. I don't know what all you've got planned for this, but what you've got so far is looking pretty effin' hot!
Personally I love how agile you are right from the start. After years of Metrodvania's, being forced to play halfway through a game before finally unlocking the double-jump or dash ability just gets pretty tedious

Wow! Animation and controls are perfect! Nicely done! I love the diagonal dash. That feels unique. Loved figuring out what to use the arrows for. The platforming challenges were awesome. My advice is to emphasize the platforming challenges! Another bit of advice is to conceive more creative enemy types. Skeletons, slimes and bats are ALWAYS the enemies. Try something else. I love your art and animation though. The skeletons bats and slimes look great! I just want to see what else you've got. The world also feels a little lifeless and empty. Just trying to help. The demo was really really awesome though! GREAT WORK! I will be buying the full game for SURE! You've got talent. Put it on Switch!
Great demo! Controls, animation and sound are just perfect. I miss the story line a bit and the first "Boss" seems to have a simple weak-point. But all seems very promicing to me. Have supported the demo and definitely will buy a full version.

Great demo, with excellent movement. Love the simple art style. Currently on the easy side, but this is the intro to the game so to be expected.

Oh also - I played this demo with an Xbox controller and I loved the added vibration effects - really made it that much more immersive!

This game is pretty much perfect. I don't even remember playing a demo this long since those old ps2 demo discs. Can't wait for the release!
